“Thank you, England”
—————————–
During WW2 England fought what was thought an impossible fight. England showed that was not the case. With Pilots and other refugees from the mainland Europe they fought back and made sure they stayed free.
This ensured that resistance through out Europe had a focal point, a command base if you like.
To all those that died fighting back to ensure we could all keep fighting and win (yet again) we thank you all.
We might be different countries with different cultures and we might curse each other from time to time like a big dysfunctual family but at that time we stood together!
The scars will always be with us, may we never forget.
